Practice Information
Simple Traditions Family Health is a direct-pay, family medicine (family practice) clinic located in Magnolia, Texas (Montgomery County) providing affordable, primary health care to people of all ages--infants, children, and adults. Our medical clinic serves the communities of Tomball, Magnolia, The Woodlands, Montgomery, Waller, and surrounding areas. Dr. Paul Dibble started this practice in 2011 in an effort to regain some of the good things that have been lost in health care.   Wonderful advances in technology and medical knowledge have improved health care, but there are some things have changed for the worst. Administrators many times have more influence on health care decisions than doctors and patients. Health care is more expensive than it needs to be, and prices are kept secret; patients are often rushed through their appointments. We think there is a better way.
We think that the doctor and patient should decide what is the best treatment. We think doctors should discuss the costs of testing and treatment with their patients and help them to find the best value.
We think doctors should spend plenty of time with their patients and thoroughly discuss their care. Not so long ago, things were done this way; some things shouldn't change.
Why do we not accept health insurance? When physicians agree to accept payments from health insurers, they must also agree to many other rules and restrictions--many of which make it hard to provide good care.
Complicated rules require more expenses and restrict a doctor's decisions. Ironically, having health insurance often results in more expensive and worse quality care. By not participating with insurance contracts, we are free to make decisions with you about what is best for your care--at the same time spending more time with you and charging less. If you have health insurance, you can still come to see us.
